BLACK EYED PEAS AND NICKELBACK TAKE AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS
The American Music Awards took place on Tuesday night (November 21), and Black Eyed Peas were the big winners, while performances included Pussycat Dolls, Nelly Furtado, and Gwen Stefani among others. The Peas took home three awards. Fergie, Will.i.am and crew took home trophies for favorite group in both the rap/hip hop and soul/rhythm and blues categories. Their latest release Monkey Business won for rap/hip hop album. |
While the band wasn’t there they did accept the award via satellite in Costa Rica. |

Red Hot Chili Peppers also accepted two awards by satellite from London. Nickelback took home an award for pop/rock album and gave their thanks. |

Other winners for the night included Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, Faith Hill, and Kelly Clarkson who took home two trophies. |
