BEANIE SIGEL AND FREEWAY UNHAPPY WITH PROMOTION OF LATEST PROJECTS

Roc-A-Fella recording artists Beanie Sigel and Freeway both released albums on Roc-A-Fella through Def Jam Records late last year. Unfortunately, both artists have failed to make a substantial impact and now they’re airing out Def Jam Records. During an interview with DJ Whookid, Sigel alluded to a possible beef with former Def Jam president, Jay-Z. He said, “It’s like everybody got their homie, that dude in their squad that’s a rotten mother****er but that’s your man, so you cover up his faults. I’m a loyal dude. And its not me pointing a finger at certain individuals or anything, see I’m a loyal dude man, (but) not your boys, that s**t’s crazy.” |
Sigel added that he was heading up to the label to find out why there’s been a lack of support for his project. He said, “Somebody gon’ answer me something. I’m not confused about what’s going on, I’m confused about why it’s going on.” |
“You know as a man I still was, had two, uh, albums over at Roc-A-Fella to complete my first initial deal. So I decided to stay and fulfill out my contractual obligations with the Roc. And see, you know, what happens from there.” |

Sigel, who is currently working on a mixtape, titled True American Gangster, explained why he decided to return to Roc-A-Fella Records for his latest album, The Solution. He said, |
