BAM MARGERA TELLS ABOUT BEST NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN STUNT
Bam Margera, who is the star of Jackass and Viva La Bands, talks about the greatest stunt that hasn’t seen the light of day. |
Bam Margera has made a career out of living dangerously, and fans have been able to see his escapades on Jackass and Viva La Bam, among other outlets. In order for fans to see the zaniness that is Bam, he has go get permission from those people, places and things that become his figurative victims. |
Bam tells us that he doesn’t have the release forms for some of his craziest stunts, but that doesn’t mean he can’t tell us about them. |
“A friend of mine, his name is Bruce, he was telling me that this show (Viva La Bam) needs to have more reality, it needs to be more raw, more reality. So I got drunk at this bar in West Chester, Pennsylvania called Duffers. And I’m like ‘Alright, you want reality? Here’s reality!’ I drive my hummer against his car, push it up onto a parking curb, into his apartment breaking his window. He’s asleep on the couch with his feet hanging out. It’s all on film. Glom is standing on the roof of the Hummer, falls off, his kneecap lands on the parking curb. He breaks his knee, and the police come. I park the Hummer there like an idiot, and I hop in Jimmy Pop’s car from the Bloodhound Gang because it was his birthday. He takes me to some Belgian bar in Philadelphia to drink beer. The next day I realize how many bad things that we’ve done. The apartment complex wouldn’t sign the release form, but man it was gold.” |
Meanwhile, Bam’s Viva La Bands compilation is in stores, and the Viva La Bands tour featuring Cradle Of Filth and Gwar kicked off September 24 in Baltimore. |
