BAM MARGERA SPEARHEADS VIVA LA BANDS VOLUME 2

Bam Margera is spearheading his second hardcore and rock compilation titled Viva La Bands, Volume 2 featuring GWAR, Clutch, The Sounds and Shiny Toy Guns.

Bam Margera returns to the musical spotlight with his second compilation, Viva La Bands, Volume 2, which was released earlier this week. Not only does it feature songs from Jess Margera’s band CKY, it also features tracks from Clutch, GWAR, and Children Of Bodom. Shiny Toy Guns and The Sounds were among those that gave Bam newly recorded tracks for the album.

Margera greeted fans at an in-store in NYC for the record release, and the Jackass movie star talked about being hands on with the compilation, which is becoming the hardcore version of the NOW pop music compilation series.

“I choose the bands and the songs, but there was a few that… You know, I say that I want GWAR on the compilation, but they chose ‘War Is All We Know,’ which is a great track, but I like ‘Sick Of You,’ which is an older one that they didn’t want to promote anymore, which is fine. But it’s little things like that I’d be willing to compromise about. But all in all, all the bands on the CD are bands that I chose because, you know I like Death Metal, I like mellow stuff…”

Viva La Bands is also planning to tour this year with Cradle Of Filth, Gwar, CKY and Vains Of Jenna. Margera, originally known for his skateboarding expertise, is also ready to release several film and video projects. Stay tuned in the next week and we’ll have the whole skinny.
