AVENGED SEVENFOLD DEBAUCHERY TOO EXPLICIT FOR DVD?

Avenged Sevenfold has had to do a lot of editing for their DVD, which is still in the works.

Avenged Sevenfold pulled off tour abruptly to finish work on their new effort, the follow-up to City Of Evil. The band has footage that they’ve taped along the way, and Avenged Sevenfold hopes to release a DVD shortly.

The Rev and Johnny Christ said that there’s so much incriminating footage, editing is taking a long time.

[The Rev] “We will eventually release a DVD, and there’s some funny stuff caught on tape. The real crazy stuff will never be released because that would ruin our lives.” [Christ] Zacky V. is right now working on all the edits and stuff, and he’s got all the footage and making sure that all the stuff that’s a little too incriminating getting out there doesn’t make it. There will be plenty of leftovers to put on the DVD so it should be cool.”

When asked if they could shed light on some of the best footage, the band said that its still in its infancy.

[The Rev] “I don’t know what the hell he’s got on there.” [Christ] “We’ve only seen the first minute so we don’t really know what’s going on there yet.”

In a statement Avenged Sevenfold said that there will be a DVD released this Spring, and they’re also toying with self-producing their next record, the follow-up to City Of Evil. The DVD is shaping up to be mostly live performance footage.
