AVANT WANTS TO BRING BACK CHIVALRY

R&B singer Avant will release his new album, Director, in April. The album differs from previous releases from the singer because it features the prodution of Jermaine Dupri, the Underdogs, Rodney Jerkins, Brian Michael Cox, and others. Previously Avant worked exclusively with producer-songwriter Steve Huff.

Recently Avant shared his influences and that he wants to bring back chivalry through his music. He said,

“It would have to be like the old school cats such as Marvin Gaye, Barry White, the Temptations. The cats that really had chivalry and brought chivalry to the music. I think we losing it kinda a little bit so everybody need to just really grab my album cause I making sure I bring that back for the ladies, you dig?”

The latest single from the project is “4 Minutes.”
