Atreyu are currently enjoying tremendous success with the release of their latest album ”Lead Sails Paper Anchor” and now the band will look to ride that momentum on the upcoming Projekt Revolution Tour. Projekt Revolution, which is Linkin Park’s brain child returned in 2007 after taking a few years off and 2008’s lineup certainly will be bringing a wealth of great music to their fans across North America. Besides Linkin Park and Atreyu, this years lineup will feature sets from The Bravery, Ashes Divide, Chris Cornell as well as 10 Years, Hawthorne Heights, Street Drum Corps and Armour for Sleep on the Revolution Stage. |
We caught up with Alex Varkatzas of Atreyu to get his thougths on being a part of the legendary lineup in 2008 and what fans can expect from the band. |
“We’re touring with legendary dudes and I don’t know, it’s awesome. We’re going to try to shred our faces everyday and watch amazing bands and do that every single day and in the end sit back and go ‘Dude, what happened? That was gravy!’ And that’s the way it should be.” |
Projekt Revolution North American dates start July 16th in Mansfield, MA and extend until August 24th in Woodlands, Texas. |
