ASSISTANT DROPS CHARGES AGAINST FOXY BROWN

Rapper Foxy Brown was in a New Jersey courtroom on Wednesday, September 26th, to respond to charges brought against her by a former assistant Rasheeda Ellis. The Associated Press reports that Ellis agreed to drop two charges including the making of terrorist threats in exchange for the return of certain items and agreement from both parties to abstain from any contact with each other.

Ellis, who used to work for Brown’s management company, and Brown also agreed not to share the details of their deal with the media and public.

“May 2005 my life was altered drastically. But I’ve discovered in your darkest hour, the confusion that shrouds you’re daily existence can become overwhelming. During the recording of my new album, Black Roses, I was diagnosed with sudden severe hearing loss.”

In related news, last month Brown reached a plea deal in a case where she was accused of assaulting two New York City manicurists. The rapper was sentenced to three years probation and anger management classes.
