ASHANTI RECRUITS METHOD MAN AND PAUL WALL FOR NEW VIDEO

Ashanti was in Hollywood last week to shoot a video for her new single, “Still On It.” The song features Method Man and Paul Wall who are both also featured in the video. The singer explained how the two got involved to MTV.com. She said, “I always liked Paul Wall [since] when he first came out. So when I listened to the beat [of ‘Still on It’] I said, ‘It sounds kinda New York, kinda bouncy, down South a little bit,’ and I was definitely feeling his vibe, so I said, ‘Let’s get Paul Wall on there.’ And we definitely had to have someone from New York represent, and I always loved Method Man.”

“Still On It” is the first single from Ashanti’s new remix album, Collectables by Ashanti, which hits stores on December 6th. The album features guest appearances by Ja Rule, Black Child, Charli Baltimore, Caddillac Tah, Merce, Free, and Hussein Fatal.

“Still On It” is slated to hit video and radio outlets on November 21st.
