ARMIN VAN BUUREN HELPS GIANT RING IN 2007

There were many parties ringing in 2007 throughout the world, but it would be tougher to find a better DJ lineup than Giant’s Circus Maximus New Year in LA. …

Club Promoters, Giant, brought together thousands of party goers along with a stunning lineup of todays hottest DJ’s all with a circus theme as people danced and celebrated 2007 in the streets Los Angeles in grand style. With a section of downtown Los Angeles closed off, stages and covered tents were erected as people flocked to dance in the new year with sets from Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Christina Skye, Sander Kleinenberg, Boris MD and a long over due reunion of legends Sasha and Digweed who clearly had the crowd enthralled with their captivating talent to keep the groove going for hours.

We caught up with Armin Van Buuren, who has played so many amazing New Years shows in the past to find out his thoughts on playing Giant’s New Years party for 2007 for the crowd in LA.

“The LA crowd is one of my favorites in the world so the choice was easily made. I hadn’t done a New Years Eve here since 2001 so I’m very happy to be here. It’s a great atmosphere, very underground and the production is amazing. So, I think it’s going to be a great New Years for me. Happy New Year!”

With New Years 2007 parties being thrown all over the world, one could be hard pressed to find a better lineup of DJ’s which extended until 5:30 in the morning. Armin also talked about performing with such an incredible line up of today’s most influential DJ’s.

“If you look at the list world wide, it can’t get any bigger than this I think. But it’s up to the people themselves. There’s a lot of great parties around LA and a lot of great parties around the world. But I think this is a pretty strong lineup.”

In what is fasT becoming an annual New Years event, Giant continues to bring world class music and a world class party to the streets of Downtown Los Angeles.
