ANTHONY HOPKINS HAS WICKED SENSE OF HUMOR
On screen Anthony Hopkins might appear menacing but that’s just a testament to his incredible acting skills and making his characters so believable. |
In Fracture, Hopkins says he gets a chance to reveal his wicked sense of humor portraying a man on trial for shooting his wife. |
“I get to wear a nice suit and drive a nice car and have some funny lines. And I’ve got a wicked sense of humor myself. The character I’m playing has quite a sense of humor, mischievous sense of humor and I have that myself. I always have a lot of fun on films. I bark like a dog. I usually do a dog barks on set. People say, ‘he’s gone crazy.’ People look at me, ‘Is that Tony Hopkins?’” |
Ryan Gosling stars as the prosecuting attorney on the case who admits that Hopkins sense of humor was something he didn’t expect. |
“It’s not every day you get to work with your heroes. He’s one of mine, he’s one of everybody’s. You know he just kind of exceeded my expectations, not just professionally but he’s just like a regular guy. You can talk to him about anything.” |
Fracture opens Friday in theaters. |
