AGUILERA AND TIMBERLAKE REVEAL NERVOUSNESS AT GRAMMY…

Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera both admitted at Grammy Rehearsals that they’re nervous about the show.

Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera are both very nervous about the 49th Annual Grammy Awards telecast this weekend on CBS-TV.

Timberlake is nominated for four awards including the prestigious Album Of The Year award. He admitted that he’s not so much worried about the awards as he is the performance at the awards. He’s slated to duet with a contest winner at the awards, and he’s nervous.

“Doing duets, it takes a certain chemistry, and I think that’s what you have to do. You have to build that chemistry with that person. I’ll be there to make sure that they are as comfortable as possible. I mean, they’re going to be incredibly nervous. I will be too. There’s that unknown element of what’s going to happen, but I think the most that I can do in my sort of short experience is put them at ease for the most part.”

True pop talent Christina Aguilera is nervous for another reason. She’s also not worried about winning in the two categories she’s nominated in, she’s thinking ahead to pulling off her Cirque Du Soleil style performance.

“I don’t really go into these things expecting to win anything. As you might have been able to tell from the very first time I won a Grammy, I had no speech prepared. I wasn’t expecting to win Best New Artist. I’ll be there to have a good time, and I’ll be super nervous to perform.”

Aside from Album of the year Timberlake is nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with T.I., Best Dance Recording and Best Pop Vocal Album for Sexy Back. Aguilera is up for Best Pop Vocal Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album for Back To Basics. Check out all the nominees at Grammy.com
