AEROSMITH STEVEN TYLER FOREGOES MOTHERS DAY FOR GUITAR HERO
No one ever called Steven Tyler a mama’s boy judging by taking the time to promote Guitar Hero over visiting mom. |
No one can accuse Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler of being a mama’s boy. The famed singer spent Mother’s Day working to promote Guitar Hero 4, which features the music of Aerosmith instead of making it home to visit his mother. |
Tyler was at the Musicians Assistance Program benefit in Los Angeles on Friday, May 9, along with honorees Slash and Alice Cooper, and he was asked if his schedule keeps him busy. |
“Yeah, so much so that I won’t be there for Mother’s Day. Happy Mother’s Day mommy!! Of course I’m a mother… as well, so I gotta get thanked too. It’s coming out in four weeks. It’s called Guitar Hero 4, and it’s got every hit Aerosmith has ever had, plus a whole lot more. It’s got 36 of our all-time favorite songs.” |
Guitar Hero 4, also called Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, will be released next month, and it will feature not only Aerosmith songs, but tunes the band likes and were influence by. As for his mom, she is of Cherokee Native American and Ukrainian descent. |
