AEROSMITH HAMILTON CANCER FREE AND FEELING FINE

Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton is nearly a year-and-a-half out of treatment for throat cancer and he gives us an update.

Aerosmith’s Tom Hamilton was present with his band at the New York City press conference announcing Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. Hamilton thankfully has recovered from throat cancer about a year-and-a-half ago, and he’s now able to resume full abilities with the band.

We asked the bassist about recovering from the ordeal.

“I feel really good. Yeah. I’ve been… It’s funny being off the road my life is more planned up and busy than when we’re on the road, and I’ve been really savoring that about how many cool things there are to do in any given day, and I notice stuff more than I used to. But I feel great. Thanks for asking.”

Aerosmith is in the studio finishing up work on their new album, and as mentioned earlier, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith has arrived in stores. It features their songs as well as tunes by some of their favorite artists including Stone Temple Pilots, Cheap Trick, and Joan Jett among others.
