IN FLAMES REVEAL THEIR SIREN CHARMS

In Flames has released their new album Siren Charms, and the collection, which came out September 9 is the follow-up to 2011’s Sounds of a Playground Fading. One of Sweden’s most unique Heavy Metal exports played an intimate, acoustic, show earlier last month, and it does mark a bit of a departure for the group.

We asked the group’s guitarists Bjorn & Niclas and singer Anders what the biggest challenge in getting the new album, Siren Charms, done.

We also asked them if they compared Siren Charms to their last album Sounds of a Playground Fading.

In Flames is set to play Knotfest later this month, but the band will kick off the “Communion of Sirens” co-headline tour with Opeth this December.
