MEET UNLOCKING THE TRUTH – METAL’S YOUNG PHENOMS

Unlocking The Truth made news by being one of the hottest hard rock groups of the decade. The band is comprised of three teens none of them older than 13.  Guitarist/vocalist Malcolm Brickhouse, drummer/vocalist Jarad Dawkins and bass guitarist/vocalist Alec Atkins signed a deal with Sony worth a total of $1.7 million if all goals and expectations are met.

The group became fixtures in New York playing Times Square and Washington Square Park, and because they are all kids, according to the law, the contract had to be approved by the New York State Supreme Court.

We asked the guys how they came together.
