‘Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider is set to participate in the Bikers For Babies event May 23 on Long Island. Funds from the event go to the March Of Dimes. He will be joined by fellow Twisted Sister mate Mark “Animal” Mendoza, and that helped get Twisted Sister together for the string of shows that they’re doing around the world. Snider said Bikers For Babies and what it seeks to do hits close to home since two of his four children were born premature.’

He said he’s also happy to support the March of Dimes because he knows that eighty percent of the funds raised go to helping the causes at hand. Those who want to contribute can go to deesnider.com and hit the pledge button on the middle pane of the site.

“They deal, very focused, with premature births the causes of it and also the ramifications of it so many babies have lifelong health problems and this is something that that March Of Dimes works with. Two of my four kids were premature, and thankfully no health problems. But certainly from the experience I can really appreciate the difficulties of being a parent with a – and I was with – a premature baby, the fears the potential problems….”
