NICKELBACK HEADED TO NASCAR

Nickelback not only will be releasing their new album titled All The Right Reasons, they’ve also taken to alternate means of promotion. The band will take to the races, not in a car, but as a performer for September 10th’s NASCAR’s Chevy Rock N Roll 400 in Richmond, Virginia.

Bassist Mike Kroeger and guitarist Ryan Peake talked about the relationship between Nickelback, NASCAR and their fans.

[Kroeger] “Car is good. Lots of fans…” [Peake] “That’s nice. I like that. That’s good.” said Peake. “It’s just like… It’s almost a natural because, for us a broad majority of the people who listen to us NASCAR is a big deal. A lot of our crew as well are absolutely crazy about the stuff. It’s something we’ve wanted for a while, it’s something we’ve worked for to get for a while, and it’s nice that they came around and reciprocated our advances.”

Nickelback’s new single, “Photograph,” is currently in heavy rotation for rock, Alternative rock and active rock stations. The band will kick off a brief tour starting August 27 in Kelseyville, California on August 27.
