Mudvayne is enjoying great success for their latest album, Lost And Found, but vocalist Chad Gray is already thinking about the band’s next record. |
Mudvayne broke through with “Happy?,” and they’re also having success with their latest track, “Forget To Remember.” Gray said that the next album will be the next in what appears to be an exploratory series of albums. |
“It’s just, literally, there’s an idea for the next record. There was an idea for this record, there was an idea for the last record. The last record I felt was more universal, this record is more personal — not necessarily personal to me, but personal to human and personal to anyone and deals with ideas of like reflection, memory, experience, what that does to a person, the choices we make in our lives, da, da, da, da, da. It’s about growing older and a getting a little wiser and looking back at your mistakes, and seeing how they’ve molded you into what you are and if they’ve jaded you and how do you shed that?” |
Mudvayne is currently recovering after a lengthy trek on the OzzFest tour. The band is in the process of scheduling dates for a late fall/early winter tour. |
