3 DOORS DOWN CAR HAS DISAPOINTING FINISH

3 Doors Down has had a long-standing relationship with NASCAR and drivers Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr., and they’ve rekindled that relationship with a new car. Earnhardt Jr. is currently driving around the new 3 Doors Down/Budweiser car, but the driver and the car had a disappointing finish.

The car and Earnhardt Jr. finished 20th at the Rock And Roll 400 in Richmond, Virginia, but the band couldn’t be on hand due to a show in Atlanta. The band did say that they’re big fans of the sport and how it’s grown over the last five years.

[Arnold] “In the south, when you’re born, they send you home from the hospital with a Dale Jr. T-shirt and a six pack of bud light.” [Harrell] “And a Skynyrd concert T-shirt.” [Arnold]”But NASCAR has always been huge in the south, but it’s nice to see it getting big everywhere. I see a lot of people watching it, and man, we love it. It’s cool to see the sport grow because as it grows it gets better and they go faster and faster. It’s cool, man.”<

3 Doors Down is on a short hiatus before hitting the road again in two weeks starting September 29 in Baton Rouge, Louisianna. Openers include Shinedown and Alterbridge.
