JANET JACKSON WORKING ON NEW ALBUM

Singer Janet Jackson is back in the recording studio working on her new untitled album. The set will be the singer’s first since 2004’s Damita Jo.

So far Jackson has recorded with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, the Track Boyz, and Kwame who has produced recent hits for Will Smith, Missy Elliott, and LL Cool J.

“You know and it was just like she was like, ‘No I’ve been watching what you’ve been doing and I want you on the album and that’s why you’re here.’ You know then Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis get in on the conference call and it’s like, you know, ‘We have you here because this is we want you a part of this situation.’ And so you know I’m still gassed up right now. You know you can’t tell me nothing. I’m rocking with Janet Jackson.”
