T.I. TRIES HIS HAND AT ACTING

Kanye West ruined Taylor Swift’s night at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night during her acceptance speech.

T.I. is spreading his wings by trying his hand at acting and he recently wrapped production on his feature film debut. The untitled project was directed by Chris Robinson and executive produced by Will Smith. The coming of age story centers around a group of young men who deal with their growing pains while competing in roller skating competitions. The film also stars Big Boi, Keith David, Jason Weaver, and Jackie Long.

In related news, T.I. released the debut project, 25 to Life, from his group the PSC this week. The rapper said,

“If it’s your homeboys that you sign and you know ya’ll been together before you were popular, they just gonna say, ‘Oh them just his homeboys.’ And if it’s some people you sign after you became popular, they gonna say, ‘Oh they didn’t no each other from the streets, they just somebody he signed, gave a record deal, and just putting out.’ So either way it go man you know people gonna have their things to say but it’s our job to just, you know what I’m sayin’, make sure that we put out top quality urban classical music.”
