Reggae star Sean Paul Reeased his third album, The Trinity, this week. The album features guest appearances by Nina Sky and Wayne Marshall and the production of the Neptunes and Sly & Robbie. The lead single from the project, “We Be Burnin’,” is Number 60 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart this week.

Paul shared his thoughts on having his new album in stores. Paul said,

“Great feeling man! I’ve been working on it for a little while now, for the past six, seven months in Jamaica. Although it has taken three years since Dutty Rock. I did a lot of traveling for that album so it really took about six, seven months and you know it’s a lot of energy. The great synergy of Jamaica, the young entertainers and producers, are on this album and I’m proud to have them featured on it, you know what I mean? It’s a great feeling to get it out man.”

Paul’s last album, 2002’s Dutty Rock, was certified double platinum for sales of two million copies. The album won a Grammy Award in 2003 in the best reggae album category.
