Pretty Ricky’s debut album, Bluestars, was recently certified gold for sales of 500,000 copies. The album’s sales were fueled by the success of the group’s lead single, “Grind On Me.” The song was written by the group which consist of four brothers. The group’s Slick ‘Em explained how they came up with their hit. He said,

Pretty Ricky’s latest single is “Your Body.”

“Hello, ‘Grind On Me’ first of all we came up with it, all the boys, all of us brothers from the same skeet, skeet. One singer and three rappers and they come together, it’s a beautiful thing. When it intertwine and combine, it’s beautiful thing like I said.”
