Paul Wall Thinks They Don’t Know

Paul Wall just released a new single, “They Don’t Know” featuring Mike Jones and Bun B, from his album, The People’s Champ. The rapper’s major label debut is already approaching gold status although it’s only been in stores for a month.

Wall is a proud southerner and the Houston-native recently shared that he isn’t pleased with Hollywood’s depiction of southerners. The rapper said,

“But I’mma have to let you know, boys down south in that third coast are not that country. That’s one thing that the movie industry is gonna have to step their game up on is getting some real actors from down south that know how to talk from down south. ‘Cause down south, okay I’mma admit we are country, but we’re not that country. They have us sounding like the Dukes of Hazzard on there, man, for real.”
