CAMRON READY TO GO TO WAR WITH JAY-Z

Jay-Z has issued a warning that he will be airing out several rappers at his upcoming Power House performance in New Jersey. In the past, Jay-Z has gone after Mobb Deep, Nas, and others under similar circumstances but there’s one rapper wh11th in Vancouver before o is ready, willing, and able to go head to head with the superstar. Camron said during a recent visit to BET’s Rap City, “You know what it is with me. Say my name I can’t wait. I’mma hit it. We live for that. The way I do is this man, say my name. I don’t got beef with nobody till they say my name. Like I had beef, an incident with Nas. He said my name for no reason — shut down records… over. I retire people when you say my name. Finish it, say it.”

Camron was signed to Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella Records and the two men even recorded a song together but they never became friends.

Jay-Z even went so far as to say he didn’t consider Camron a member of the Roc because he had his own Diplomat thing going. When previously asked about his relationship with Jay-Z, Camron said the two men were cool but they just didn’t do business with each other.

Camron’s close friend and fellow Diplomat Jim Jones may have instigated the beef when he took a shot at Jay-Z on his latest single, “Summer Wit’ Miami.”
