Avenged Sevenfold put on one of the most entertaining shows for a modern rock band. Their use of nicknames like singer Matt Shadows and drummer The Rev, plust their use of excessive staging recalls the old school concerts like Motley Crue, Iron Maiden and White Zombie. |
The band also has made a less screamo album with their latest effort City Of Evil. As far as their production is concerned The Rev and bassist Johnny Christ say that they look at some of the veteran acts around them to draw inspiration. |
Avenged Sevenfold had to postpone their European tour due to committments in the Untited States. The band’s single “Bat Country” has now moved top twenty in both active and alternative radio charts in the States. |
