COMMON BOLTS ON KANYE WEST

Common talks about his cool role as the Gunsmith in the new movie Wanted, and explains how much of the character is him.

Just hours before Kanye West’s Touch The Sky Tour was slated to kick-off in Miami on Tuesday, October 11th, Common pulled out. The rapper landed a role in an untitled movie and the shooting schedule conflicted with the scheduled tour dates.

While some artists would be pissed off, West was supportive of his friend and backed him on his decision. West has decided not to fill the vacancy and instead he will extend his own set. The tour still has two opening acts Fantasia and Keyshia Cole.

No information was available about Common’s movie project except that it also star Taraji Henson who appeared in Common’s latest video, “Testify,” and the movies Hustle & Flow and Four Brothers.
