FRANZ FERDINAND HITS SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE

Franz Ferdinand played Saturday Night Live this weekend from NBC Studios in New York City to promote their new album, You Could Have Is So Much Better. The band played material from the new album and also gave the audience a reminder of who they were, ripping off “Take Me Out.”

The show not only featured Franz Ferdinand as a musical guest, it also featured Catherine Zeta-Jones as the guest host. Here’s a snippet from what was on Saturday Night Live this past weekend.

Full versions of the Saturday Night Live performances are available on the NBC website. Franz Ferdinand returns to Europe for a tour that will last through mid-December. The band won’t be back until early Spring as they travel to Australia and Japan early in 2006.
