FALL OUT BOY TRYING NOT TO SUGAR UP HYPE

Fall Out Boy is probably the hottest band right now Stateside, and the band just completed a tour of the country as part of the Nintendo Fusion Tour. They just released their next single, “Dance Dance,” but their last hit single, “Sugar, We’re Going Down” still has legs.

“Sugar” has now entrenched itself in the pop top ten after a very succcessful run of the Alternative charts. Fall Out Boy’s songwriter Pete Wentz was asked if he notices the band’s popularity growing.

Fall Out Boy will make an appearance on Last Call With Carson Daly on November 4, and they’re resting up and gearing up for a run of European dates starting this January in Belfast.

Yes we see more kids watching us and hear more voices when we’re on stage, but we’re in a bus driving around the country in like Omaha, Nebraska we don’t have MTV on so we don’t see our video and it’s good because sometimes when you start to see yourself on TV too much you start believing your own hype, so…”
