[The Rev] “We play that stuff live because Matt Shadows has a, he has a type of voice that he can convey…pull off those parts in a really good way. [Christ] “…stuff off all the old records he pulls off perfectly.” [The Rev] “he can make his voice distorted to where it sounds pretty much like he’s doing it the way he used to to it, but just with melody.” [Christ] “You’re not losing the energy at all, in fact I think you’re kind of gaining more without the screaming.” [The Rev] “He’s singing it, but his voice is just amazing. It just keeps getting better and better and you have to come see it live to understand, but we do play…almost half the set is older stuff.” |
Avenged Sevenfold will be on tour through December 2, winding down at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, Nevada. Those who didn’t see them this go around will have a chance to next year. Stay tunes for details. |
