10 Years have quite a buzz going on about them, but they’re not your usual buzz band. The group, fronted by Jesse Hasek, has created a stir with their album, The Autumn Effect, and its first single, “Wasteland.” |
Ten Years is currently up for Yahoo!’s “Who’s Next” contest between new bands, but they’ve been able to gain more fans from the road. The band is currently touring with Sevendust and Mudvayne, and drummer Brian Vodinh said both the band and audiences have been great. |
“It’s been going really well. We’ve been friends with Sevendust for a while and fans of Mudvayne and we’ve known the Bobaflex guys for a while as well. So man, it’s unbelieveable. A year ago we had…we weren’t even signed. So for us to be in this positon and actually be on the road with these bands it’s amazing. And the crowds have been sick. They have been very welcoming and warm to us, people have actually — when we look out and even when we’re not playing the single, just a random song from the record — you’ll see people singing along and everything.” |
10 Years will be on the road through December 23 when they play The Blue Cat in their hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. |
