DMX GETS HIT WITH EXTRA JAIL TIME
Rapper and actor DMX can’t seem to catch a break and he may need to invest in a driver in the future. The rapper is already serving a 70 day sentence for violating the terms of his probation by driving with a suspened license and on Wednesday (November 30) a Bronx juidge sentenced the rapper to additional seven days for his involvement in an accident last April which resulted in another vehicle crashing into an unmarked police car. DMX pled guilty to driving with a suspended license and Criminal Court Judge George Villegas fined the rapper $500 and sentenced him to a seven-day term which will run concurrent with his current jail term. |
DMX was initially placed on probation last December after he pled guilty to reckless endangerment and acknowledged he was on Valium when he crashed his SUV into a gate at Kennedy Airport during a road rage incident. He was sentenced to a conditional discharge, which meant he needed to stay out of trouble for a year or face jail. Unfortunately since being placed on probation, DMX has gotten two traffic violations, one for driving 104 miles an hour near his home and one for the aforementioned accident with an unmarked police car and another vehicle. |
