Blink 182’s greatest hits collection not only features previously unreleased songs, it also features previously unreleased video material. The audio version of the collection is still in the Top 50 according to Billboard, and label officials expect the DVD version to be certified for sales later this month.

Although Blink 182 unofficially disbanded a few years ago, the band didn’t close that chapter of their lives. Bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus recalled some of his greatest hits of highlights from the band’s career.

“There were so many different moments with Blink that I… Yeah, playing on New Year’s Eve in Times Square in 2000 was a ridiculous experience that was so cool. Playing on the rooftop of the MTV Building was really cool. The first time that we sold out a local club in San Diego called Soma was that same experience. Becuase that was always the highest goal with our band was to get to play this club called Soma where all the punk bands played in San Diego, and that was always our dream. So we played there and have done a lot of other things since then. So, everything since getting to play the main stage at Soma has been a dream come true, you know?”

While Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus continues to work on his band, Plus 44, and to produce bands, his former bandmate Tom Delonge will be releasing an album with his new band, Angels and Airwaves.
