Singer Chrisette Michele hit with 20 million dollar lawsuit by former manager.

Jay-Z was hit with a lawsuit by wrestler Diamond Dallas Page for the unlawful use of his “Diamond Cutter” hand signal. According to the wrestler, he trademarked the rights to the diamond-shaped symbol in 1996 when he started using it for wrestling and other entertainment ventures. Jay-Z and members of Roc-A-Fella Records have been using the diamond hand sign since the late 90s as a symbol for the label.

Page is suing to stop the rapper from using the diamond hand sign and for an undisclosed financial amount. Calls to Def Jam Records were not returned at press time.

The Delta Sigma Theta sorority has also been using the same diamond hand sign since the mid-60s.
