FOXY BROWN IS KEEPING HER SPIRITS UP

Female rapper Foxy Brown suddenly lost her hearing six months ago but kept the tragedy to herself. On Thursday, December 15th, the rapper held a press conference at BET in New York City to share the details of her ailment. The rapper has been diagnosed with sudden sensor neural hearing loss in both ears and will undergo surgery next month.

During the press conference which was attended by Brown’s boyfriend model Tyson Beckford, Russell and Kimora Simmons, Doug E. Fresh, Minister Ben Chavis and other, Brown vowed not to let the hearing loss get her down.

“That was the last thing that I wanted to address. I think that it’s really important for everyone to know that this has not at all gotten my spirits down, at all. I’m so excited to undergo surgery to be able to restore my hearing and get back in the studio. Yes, I am racing to the studio the moment that God affords me the opportunity to hear again.”

When asked about her upcoming album, Black Roses, Brown said,
