One of the strangest but greatest line-up as far as star-power had to be hip-hop superstar Kanye West opening up for rock legends, U2. The two paired up in the last quarter of the year, giving fans in three or four cities the treat of a lifetime. |
West was recently asked about the pairing at the Z100 Jingle Ball show in New York City earlier this month, and he essentially said it was a no-brainer. |
“What made me decide to tour with U2? You mean, you talk about having the opportunity and not taking it? West is playing the Aladdin Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve, and he starts a tour of the U.K. in February. As for U2, they have three dates in Mexico in February before touring New Zealand and Australia in March. |
