LOU RAWLS BATTLING CANCER

Legendary singer Lou Rawls is in a Los Angeles hotel battling cancer but the singer has told his fans not to count him out. The 70 year-old singer said, “Don’t count me out, brother. There’s been many people who have been diagnosed with this kind of thing and they’re still jumpin’ and pumpin’.”

Rawls began his career in the fifties singing with his classmate Sam Cooke. The singer later embarke don a solo career which icnluded hits like: “Natural Man,” :You’ll Never Find A Love Like Mine,” “Love Is A Hurtin’ Thing,” and “Let Me Be Good To You.”

“When you tell me Lou Rawls is…now he has cancer. Even more than music that just makes me think about cancer. Just because I know so many people that have been affected by cancer. I think it’s so common and so devastaing.”
