North Carolina-based group Little Brother has been tapped to open for Fort Minor on their upcoming North American tour. The trek is slated to kick-off on January 28th in Minneapolis but Little Brother will warm-up with a performance at New York’s Nokia Theater on January 26th. They will be joined on the bill by MF Doom, Pete Rock, Jin, and Big Daddy Kane. |
The group’s Big Pooh recently shared what it was like the first time the group went on the road in 2003 with the Hieroglyphics. He said, |
“It was great. I’ll never forget that experience ever, ever, ever, ever in my life. That was our first tour. We had been out on spot dates for a week or whatever but that was actually our first tour where we left the house on September 23rd or something like that, we didn’t come back until November 8th or something like that. So that was just an experience that I never, never forget the whole Hieroglyphics crew for that. They showed us like crazy love while we was out.” |
Little Brother released their sophomore album, The Minstrel Show, in September. |
