(VIDEO) Jaheim breaks down why he recruited Jadakiss for his new single!!!

Jaheim will release his third solo album, Ghetto Classics, on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. The release is the first new studio set from the singer in over three years. To create a buzz for the album, Jaheim has released his collaboration with Jadakiss, “Everytime I Think About Her,” as the album’s lead single.

Jaheim recently shared that he thinks Jadakiss is one of the greatest rappers of all time. He said,

“Jada, you know he’s one of the hottest, the illest rappers in the game. You know the streets love him. In my hood, everybody love him. So you know outside of that, you see all over the Billboard, you see Jada. When I put Jadakiss on my record, ‘Diamond In the Ruff,’ that bumped out for a minute. Then Usher followed up, and had a similar kind of record and put Jadakiss on it so I said, ‘Yeah, yeah, he did the right thing.’ Then the record blew up, so we hollered back at him.”

Jaheim’s new album will feature the production of Kay Gee who discovered the singer in the laet 90s and signed him to his Divine Mill label. In addition to Kay Gee, super producer Scott Storch also contributed a song to the project.
