CHRIS BROWN HOPES TO GET INTO ACTING

R&B singer Chris Brown released his platinum self-titled debut album in November and the singer has been on a roll ever since. He’s released two Top Twenty hits, “Run It” featuring Juelz Santana and “Yo.” The sixteen year-old hopes to keep the streak alive when he releases his new single, “Gimme That” featuring Lil Wayne in the coming weeks.

Brown may be a new a recording artist but he’s already trying to launch a film career. The singer explained that he’s currently up for a couple of roles and there’s one that he’s really wants. Brown said,

“Um, actually, I’m looking at a lot of scripts right now. I got this role that I’m looking at. It’s a movie with Samuel L. Jackson and Angela Bassett. I’m playing their son, I’m like a little rebellious kid. I’m against the war and everything like that so I’m hopefully gonna get the part!”
