CHINGY WANTS TO LIMIT GUESTS ON NEW ALBUM
St. Louis-based rapper Chingy will release his third solo album, Hood Star, this spring. The album will feature the production of the Track Starz, Mannie Fresh, Kwame, Timbaland, DJ Quik, Three 6 Mafia, DJ Smurf, and Voodoo. When we talked to Chingy he shared that he was hoping to keep the vocal guests to a minimum. The rapper said, |

“I got Choppa, Young City from Making the Band and Mannie Fresh on there. My little cousin Spiffy off my label, Slot-A-Lot Records, my first artist, Young Spiffy on there. And who else I got on there? I ain’t got too many people on there, you know what I’m sayin’? So it’s basically kinda based around me a lot.” |
