LIL KIM ENJOYS HER LAST DAYS

Next month, BET will premiere the long awaited reality show “Lil’ Kim: Countdown to Lowdown.” The show chronicles Kim’s last two weeks before her federal prison term. Last June, the Brooklyn rapper was found guilty of perjury and sentenced to 366 days in Philadelphia’s Federal Detention Center.

Viewers will see the Brooklyn rapper attend exclusive parties, fashion shows, and finish music videos before her sentence. A less glamorous Kim will also be seen as she removes her extensions, acrylic nails, and make up before turning herself into authorities.

The show will air in a series of six half hour episodes and is executive produced by Tracey Edmonds of Edmonds Entertainment. “It’s a very serious look at her life and her choices, and the consequences of those choices,” said BET President Reginald Hudlin.

“Lil’ Kim: Countdown to Lockdown,” will debut March 9th on BET at 9:30pm ET.
