GOAPELE RELEASES FIRST LOVE VIDEO

Singer Goapele has released the first video from her sophomore album, Change It All, which is in stores now. The live performance clip for “First Love” was shot at Great American Music Hall in San Francisco and has been added to rotation on VH-1 Soul. Goapele will also be featured on an upcoming edition of MTV’s My Block. The show will focus on the Bay Area Movement and airs on Sunday, March 5th on MTV.

Goapele recently explained that with her latest album, Change It All, she was really able to make an album that reflects her musical taste. The singer said,

“I feel like I got to stretch out on this album and not only do some of the live music that I was doing before but get to experiment and do some more edgy kind of stuff. I don’t even know what category it would fit. It’s like some funky 80s stuff and then I have ballads that have more of a jazz kinda feel. And then there’s still you know kind of a hip-hop edge to some of the songs and I’m just grateful that it reflects all of the music that I love.”

Goapele will be co-headlining the Pantene Total You tour with Mary Mary. The tour kicks off on in April.
