FLOETRY TAKING SOUL TRAIN LOSS IN STRIDE
Floetry was beat out by Destiny’s Child at last weekend’s Soul Train Awards in the best R&B single by duo or group category but the ladies took it stride. Backstage Natalie Stewart shared that she didn’t enjoy losing while Marsha Ambrosius explained that just being nominated was a victory within itself. The duo said, |
Floetry is still promoting their sophomore set, Flo’Ology. The latest single from the project is “Lay Down.” |
“(Natalie) I don’t see it at lossing. (Marsha) There is no loss. We were all nominated and that’s recognition in itself and to be in amongst that company. Of course. DC all the way. (Natalie) “I always mind losing. I always mind losing. You should never be okay with losing, ever. (Marsha) It’s never a loss.” |
Ambrosius is also working on a solo set for Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment label. No release date has been set for the project. |
