FLOETRY MEMBER SAYS WORKING WITH DR DRE IS A EGO BOOST
Floetry’s Marsha Ambrosius is currently working on a solo album for Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment label. The untitled set is scheduled to hit stores later this year. Floetry is still together and promoting their sophomore set, Flo’Ology. The group will be touring throughout the coming months as Ambrosius continues work on her solo debut. |
“It’s kind of crazy cause as Floetry we’ve been in the studios with Michael Jackson, Prince, Earth, Wind, & Fire, and not tooting our own horns but at some point you have to feel like you belong there. So it really is an ego boast. It was like, ‘Oh you’ve updated my self worth. Now I can be in here with you.’ So I have to be on my A game so it’s cool.” |
