JAMIE FOXX TALKS DREAMGIRLS

Jamie Foxx is currently promoting his new album, Unpredictible. The set is approaching double platinim status and the singer will be launching a tour this fall with Mary J. Blige. While his singing career is going great, the Academy Award winning actor isn’t ready to give up on his day job.

Foxx, who is currently shooting Dreamgirls, said,

“We got things cooking on the day job as far as Dreamgirls is concerned. I mean it’s gonna knock your wig off because, you know, when we started with Dreamgirls it was like Dreamgirls. Eddie Murphy. Eddie Murphy is excited to be doing a movie. For like the past twenty seven years, I mean, you know, he’s been on top. He’s been somebody that’s been like my hero. To see him excited about coming to work. To see Beyonce who’s so focused. She doesn’t laugh at any of my jokes in between takes. She’s very very focused and so everything is on the up right now.”

Dreamgirls is slated to hit theaters later this year. In the meantime, Foxx will be releasing a new single, “DJ Play A Love Song” featuring Twista, in the coming weeks.
