E 40 SAYS NEW PROJECT IS VINTAGE MATERIAL
Rapper E-40 will release his debut album for Lil’ Jon’s BME label, My Ghetto TReport Card, next Tuesday, March 14th. The first single from the project is “Tell Me When 2 Go” featuring Keak The Sneak. |
Due to Lil’ Jon’s involvement with the project as label head and producer, fans may expect the album to be crunk driven but according to E-40 it’s actually well-rounded. He said, |
“This album is vintage E-40 with a new school twist. You smell me? And don’t get it twisted. With this album, don’t think that I’m just…all my tracks are southern driven, you know what I mean? We hyphy. We, we, we, we, we, we struggle rap. We, you know what I mean, we crunk. We all that. You smell me? That’s what this album is. It’s the complete package. It’s all four corners of the game, you smell me? That’s what’s cooking and it ain’t for play, you smell me? It ain’t bananas. It’s coconuts.” |
The album features guest appearances by Lil’ Scrappy, Bohagon, Mike Jones, Juelz Santana, Turf Talk, B-Legit, the Federation, 8Ball, and UGK. |
