AVANT TAKES TIME TO RAISE HIS SON

R&B singer Avant will release his fourth solo album, Director, next month. The album is the first release from the singer since 2003’s gold-certified Private Room. While promoting his forthcoming album, Avant explained why he took a break in between albums. The singer said,

Director will feature the production of Jermaine Dupri and Rodney Jerkins with a geust appearance by Lil Wayne and G-Unit.

“My new album is coming out April 25th guys. It’s called Director. Also log on to my website Avant-Music.com. I got all the behind the scenes on everything. Yo your man is just doing it. I had to take off a year and a half because I have a two year old son so I’m trying to be the best father that I can be too.”

The latest single from the album is “4 Minutes.”
