NICK CANNON IS WILLING TO TAKE THE BLAME FOR FAILED RELATIONSHIP

Nick Cannon is currently promoting his forthcoming album, Stages, but the rapper has been spending a lot of time answering questions about his break up with Christina Milian. Cannon was painted as the bad guy by his ex during an interview with New York’s WQHT FM. Milian shared that she regularly checked Cannon’s personal email while filming her last project in Romania. During the two months, Milian shared that she intercepted several inappropriate emails between Cannon and other women.

Cannon for his part denies that he cheated but he’s willing to accept responsiblility for the break up. The rapper said,

“I was never a cheater. That was one thing I will definitely say. It was more of a situation where I probably was focusing more on my career and myself. A relationship is a job. You know being 25 and you know being in a situation where you guys are young adults, you got to treat it like a job. If you don’t focus on it, it could go the wrong way. And I think that’s kind of where it kinda got…. We had two different visions for what we were trying to build and you know like I said I can take fuill blame for not being what she wanted me to be but at the time I was just too focused on doing me.”

Stages feature guest appearances by Anthony Hamilton and Talib Kweli with production by Cannon and Kanye West. The latest single from the project is “Dime Piece.”
